Brooch; gold; in the form of a truncated pyramid set with an onyx; each step of the pyramid is elaborately decorated; the edges of the upper two with a continuous gold strip of arcading; the lower with a series of suspension loops of double-ribbed strip; the tips of the two lower steps are embellished with granulation; an inner pattern of single granulation, an outer of three granules surmounted by one; the onyx of banded brown and cream is set in a collet of plain gold sheet; on the base two loops of a double-ribbed strip and remains of a hinge.
