Corbel; oak; carved with grotesque head of a man; back pierced with mortice for a horizontal beam and various holes for pins, suggesting that the head originally projected at 90 degrees from the lie-beam of a wooden roof; covered with dark brown paint, almost certainly modern, with vestiges of red and green polychromy.
