GOLD-PLATED CENTRE-SECONDS CLUB-TOOTH LEVER WRIST-WATCH WITH UP AND DOWN DIAL AND LIZARD-SKIN STRAP.
Movement with club-tooth lever escapement.
Silvered-metal dial with engine-turned chapter-ring; raised gilt Arabic hour numerals at 3, 6, 9 and 12, each with a luminous dot; remaining hours marked by raised gilt triangles, each with luminous-painted dot at the end; state-of-wind indicator.
Gilt-metal hour and minute hands with luminous-painted bars; gilt-metal centre-seconds hand.
Gold-plated case with screw-on stainless-steel back.
Black lizard-skin wrist-strap.

Wrist Watch with centre seconds and centre dial showing the state of wind and a club tooth lever escapement.
Signature: On the dial 'Zodiac powergraphic SWISS'.
Case: A round gilt case with a stainless steel screw back. The back marked 'ZODIAC ANTIMAGNETIC WATER-RESISTANT SHOCK RESISTANT SWISS MADE' and with the Zodiac sign for Pisces, an oval with a cross superimposed and the number 1007135. Inside the back is 'Zodiac Ltd. Le Locle. Swiss' and 'FOND ACIER INOXYDABLE' and the number 767.
Dial & Hands: The silvered metal dial has an engine turned chapter ring with gilt batons, the outside ends of these with luminous dots, for the intermediate hours and gilt Arabic numerals at 12, 3, 6 and 9. Black minute circle with shields at the 12, 3, 6 and 9 positions, these filled luminous. Around the dial centre is, in black, the up and down dial numbered from 0-36 in multiples of six. Gilt hands, the hour and minute hands pierced and filled with luminous paint, a gilt centre seconds hand and a blued steel dart hand for the state of wind indicator.
Movement: On the barrel bridge is 'SWISS' and 'UNADJUSTED', on the train bridge is 'Zodiac Ltd. 1501' in a rectangle and 'SEVENTEEN 17 JEWELS'.
Ebauche Marks: None.
Frame: A nickel silver movement with a bridge for the barrel and keyless work and one for the train. Under the train bridge is a cock for the lower pivot of the centre wheel, this has a endpiece with a jewel for the centre seconds pinion. Cocks also for the lever and balance.
Barrel and Mainspring: A recessed cove to the going barrel.
Barrel: I diameter 10 mm., height 1.56 mm.
Mainspring: height 1.54 mm., thickness 0.115 mm.
Barrel Arbor: diameter 3.1 mm., snailed.
Hooking: A slipping mainspring. It is hooked to an outer turn of stronger spring.
Train: All the wheels ilded, the centre wheel, third and fourth wheels with five crossings. The steel escape wheel with four.
Jewelling: Jewelled bearings from the third wheel onwards, all the jewels pressed in. Ruby endstones to the escape wheel. The balance bearings are 'Incabloc' shock protected.
Escapement: A straight line layout club tooth lever escapement with short lever, double roller and D-shaped impulse pin. The exposed pallet stones have flat acting faces. A steel escape wheel with four crossings.
An equal impulse escapement.

Balance & Spring: a monometallic balance with brass screws. Balance diameter 10.95 mm., thickness 0.7 mm. A blued 'self compensating' flat spiral spring with 13 turns.
Means of Regulation: An index on the balance cock registers against a divided scale with '+' and '-' engraved on the balance cock table.

Winding System: Conventional positive stem set keyless work.
Up and Down work: On removing the dial a ring is revealed which holds down the up-and-down wheel on which the hand is mounted. This is part cut with 46 teeth. The barrel has two pinions upon it one mounted on the barrel itself and the other on the barrel arbor both have 22 teeth. That on the barrel arbor meshes with an intermediate pinion of 17 which is mounted on the front plate. That on the barrel meshes with............... There is a triple pinion which has 21 27 and 27 teeth. One wheel carries a pipe on which the other two wheels rotate freely. Between these two wheels is a disc which carries three ball bearings on which the two wheels rest. Between the wheel that carries the pipe and the inner wheel is a spring which gives some restraint to the two loose wheels.
