Silver sheet appliqués (x4) from the backs of the arms of a cross (central panel missing); each is tongue-shaped with a roundel at the end containing a winged evangelist symbol with a book, in repoussé: a lion at top, ox on right, eagle on left and a man on foot; spiral scroll borders; there are also 7 stars on upper arm, a peacock on each lateral arm, and a cross above a tree-of-life on the foot; flanged edges.

- Curator's comments
- Possibly from a reliquary cross, or pendant cross from an altar; the centre panel may have concealed a relic; perhaps North Italian, as the decoration has parallels in stone carvings from Lombard Italy of the 8th and 9th centuries.
