POCKET-CHRONOMETER MOVEMENT FORMERLY WITH SPRING DETENT ESCAPEMENT NOW WITH RATCHET-TOOTH LEVER.
Full-plate watch movement with gilded-brass plates and turned pillars; fusee with Harrison's maintaining power.
Ratchet-tooth lever escapement replacing original spring-detent escapement; later gold balance; blued-steel spiral balance spring regulated by index on the balance cock.
White enamel dial, hair-line cracks, with Arabic hour numerals and subsidiary seconds.
Gold hour and minute hands; blued-steel seconds hand (tail missing).
Gilded-brass dust-cap.
