Ingersoll Crown pocket watch.
Movement with pin-pallet lever escapement; pendant wind and hand set.
White paper twenty-four hour dial with subsidiary seconds; large Arabic numerals 1-12, very small Arabic numerals 13-24.
Nickel plated hands.
Rubbed chromium-plated brass case with snap-on back and bezel; flattened bow.
This watch was never sold and is in 'mint' condition with original
presentation box and tie-on guarantee.

Keyless wound watch with a pin pallet lever escapement.
Signature: On the dial "INGERSOLL CROWN' and 'MADE IN USA".
Case: Chromium plated case, in mint condition, with a snap on back and bezel. Back of the case stamped 'MADE IN USA'. A tie on guarantee.
Dial and Hands: White paper dial with black Arabic numerals. A subsidiary seconds dial. Blued-steel spade hands and seconds hand.
Movement: A type 5C numbered 99287615, the barrel bridge stamped 'MADE IN U.S.A.' and with the three lubricating holes.(1)
Ebauche Marks: None.
Dimensions: Case diameter 51.0 mm., height 16 mm., over the glass.
Provenance: Donated by the Heron Corporation in 1983.
(1) These three holes are of course above the barrel which also has the three holes which can be aligned during winding so that an oiler can be passed through the barrel bridge and into the barrel if so desired.
