Ingersoll crown pocket watch.
Possibly later movement with pin-pallet lever escapement; pendant wind and hand set.
Black paper twenty-four hour dial with subsidiary seconds; large Arabic numerals 1-12, very small Arabic numerals 13-24.
Nickel (?) plated hands; hour and minute hands also luminous.
Very rubbed chromium-plated brass case with snap-on back and bezel; flattened bow.

Keyless wound watch with a pin pallet lever escapement.
Signature: On the dial "INGERSOLL CROWN" and "MADE IN U.S.A."
Case: Nickel plated case, badly rubbed, with a snap on back and bezel. Back of the case stamped 'MADE IN U.S.A.'
Dial and Hands: Black paper dial with white Arabic luminised numerals 1-12 and smaller numerals in white 13-24. A sunk subsidiary seconds dial. Nickel plated spade hands luminised and a nickel plated seconds hand.
Movement: A type 5D numbered 3988150, the barrel bridge with three oiling holes.(1) The barrel bridge is also stamped 'MADE IN U.S.A.'
Ebauche Marks: None.
Dimensions: Case diameter 51.0 mm., height 16 mm over the glass.
Provenance: Donated by the Heron Corporation in 1983.
