Ingersoll Crown pocket watch.
Pin-pallet lever escapement; pendant wind and hand set.
Silver coloured dial with Roman numerals and subsidiary seconds ring at 6 o'clock.
Blued steel hands.
Rubbed plated brass case of dark colour with ribbed band; snap-on bezel and back; round bow.
Back of case with paper guarantee, signed and dated.

Keyless wound watch with a pin pallet lever escapement.
Signature: On the dial "INGERSOLL CROWN MADE IN U.S.A.".
Case: Gun metal case, badly rubbed. A ribbed band, and a snap on back and bezel. In the back is a guarantee endorsed W. Horden and dated 15 6 12.
Dial and Hands: Silvered metal dial with a sunk centre, black Roman numerals and minute circle. A sunk subsidiary seconds dial. Blued-steel spade hands and a blued-steel second hand.
Ebauche Marks: None.
Frame: A type 5 movement numbered 25923876 finished gilt. One movement retaining screw missing. The balance stamped U or possibly a bad O. On the barrel bridge set out in a circular manner is the following:- "R.H. INGERSOLL & BRO NEW YORK MADE IN U.S.A. PATENTED JAN 29.01. APRIL 11.05. JUNE 29.09. MAY 24.10.
Dimensions: Case diameter 51.0 mm., height 16 mm., over the glass.
