Ingersoll Crown pocket watch in small shelf-clock case.
Movement with pin-pallet lever escapement; pendant wind and hand-set.
White paper dial with Roman numerals and subsidiary seconds ring.
Blued steel hands; minute hand of later date.
Chromium plated case with ribbed band, snap-on bezel and back; round bow.
'Clock' consisting of square chromium-plated box with circular aperture through which dial is visible; in two halves which slide together.
Signed guarantee in back of case.

A keyless pocket watch with a pin pallet lever escapement
Signature: On the dial 'INGERSOLL CROWN' and 'MADE IN USA'.
Case: A chromium plated case with a ribbed band and a snap on bezel and back. There is a guarantee endorsed J.E. Carney and dated 10th February 1913.
A square chromium plated outer box to take the watch made so that the watch can be stood upright.
Dial and Hands: A white paper dial with heavy black Roman numerals and a sunk subsidiary seconds dial. The hands not original, except for the seconds hand and are of blued-steel.
Ebauche marks: none.
Frame: Type 5 movement finished gilt, numbered 32789110.
On the barrel bridge set out in a circular manner is 'R.H. INGERSOLL & BRO NEW YORK MADE IN U.S.A PATENTED JAN 29.01. APRIL 11.05. JUN 29.09. MAY 4.10.'
Dimensions: Outer box 54.5 mm., square and 21.5., mm deep
Watch case 51.0 mm., in diameter and 16.0 mm., in height.
