Keyless watch with pin pallet lever escapement.
Signature: On the dial 'INGERSOLL ECLIPSE'.
Case: Nickel plated case with ribbed band, snap on bezel and a hinged back. In the case is a guarantee, unendorsed and dated 1903.
The case is not numbered.
Dial and Hands: Discoloured white paper dial with black Roman numerals and a sunk subsidiary seconds dial. Blued-steel hands and blued-steel seconds hand.
Movement: Type 4A numbered 6754509, the plates gilt.
The barrel bridge is secured by screws and is stamped 'MADE IN U.S.A. PATENTED DEC.23.90. JAN 13.91. APR 23.01. R.H. INGERSOLL & BRO NEW-YORK.'
Dimensions: Case diameter 52 mm., height 18.0 mm.
