Keyless wound watch with pin pallet lever escapement.
Signature: On the dial 'Ingersoll YANKEE RADIOLITE' and 'PARTS MADE IN USA AND ASSEMBLED IN ENGLAND'.
Case: Nickel plated case with some plating worn away on the band and the bezel. A snap on bezel and back.
Dial and Hands: Black paper dial with luminised Arabic numerals, a sunk subsidiary seconds dial. Steel spade hands with the tips luminised. Unusually the blued-steel seconds hand is also luminised.
Movement: Type 5B numbered 57558804 with gilt finished plates.
On the plates set out in a circular fashion is "ROBT. H. INGERSOLL & BRO. NEW YORK MADE IN U.S.A. PATENTED APRIL 11.05. JUNE 4.07. JUNE 29.09. MAY 24. 10. NOV.12.12. JULY 2.18. SEPT 28.20."
