White paper dial with Roman numerals; written on dial in red ink are names of various places.
Blued steel hour and minute hands.
Nickel-plated plain case with snap-on back and bezel; broken perspex 'glass'.

Keyless wound watch with a pin pallet lever escapement.
Signature: On the dial "INGERSOLL CROWN" and "MADE IN U.S.A.".
Case: Nickel plated case and a snap on back and bezel.
Dial and Hands: A dirty white paper dial with black Roman numerals and minute circle. A sunk subsidiary seconds dial. On the dial written in red ink are the place names 'SALONIKA, BELGIUM, BOSPHOROS, TURKEY, SWITZERLAND, FRANCE, ITALY, DARDENELLES, MACEDONIA, SERBIA, BULGARIA and RUSSIA'. Blued-steel spade hour hand the minute hand not original, the seconds hand missing.
Ebauche Marks: None.
Frame: A type 5B movement numbered 42352219 finished gilt.
On the barrel bridge set out in a circular manner is the following:- "R.H. INGERSOLL & BRO NEW YORK MADE IN U.S.A. PATENTED JAN 29.01. APRIL 11.05. JUNE 4.07. JUNE 29.09. MAY 24.10. NOV 12.12."
Dimensions: Case diameter 51.0 mm., height 16 mm., over the glass.
