Panel of three earthenware tiles, solid buff body covered with white slip under a tin glaze, then painted in Iznik colours of brown, manganese, blue, green and turquoise and finally glazed all over with a clear lead glaze; the design features two fantastic birds with foliage, with the top of another bird at the bottom, indicating that the tile is part of a larger pattern. Maker's mark on reverse.
