- Text from the Catalogue of the Hull Grundy Gift (Gere et al 1984) no. 712:
Although this bouquet brooch is inspired by eighteenth-century rococo taste, the style and more particularly the technique relate it to designs published in Le Bijou in the 1880s. (Charlotte Gere).
