- According to A. Putaturo Murano and A. Perriccioli Saggese, 'L'arte del corallo. Le manifatture di Napoli e di Torre del Greco fra Ottocento e Novecento', Naples 1989, p. 42, similar jewels with bunches of grapes were shown at the Naples Industrial Exhibition of 1853 by Sebastiano Palomba.
