Text from catalogue of the Hull Grundy Gift (Gere et al 1984) no 852 Exhibited at the Burlington Fine Arts Club 'Exhibition of Greek Art' (1904) This cameo is a version of an intaglio (Boardman 1968, no.11) which also came from the Robinson collection. (Charlotte Gere)
