Dining chair, mahogany, openwork carved back and upholstered seat covered in dark green leather secured at the corners with metal studs, the underside of the seat covered in cotton (?) cloth secured with metal staples; metal caps on base of each leg.

- Part of a set with six dining chairs 1976,1203.2-7 and a carver chair 1976,1203.1. Although described on entry to the Museum as 'Country made Hepplewhite period chairs of c.1775' they are thought to be reproduction pieces, made in the late 19th or early 20th century. The upholstery is more recent.
