- Curator's comments
- Notes based on Marks & Williamson 2003, no. 206. The Fishpool Hoard reveals the types of jewellery that would have been worn by the nobility and wealthy on important social cermonial occasions. The presence of a signet ring in the Hoard suggest that a man owned the jewellery and rings.
