Description
Case for a Citole, formerly known as a gittern. Made of wood with felt/fabric interior with the exterior covered in thin leather. The lid has metal hinges and shutter hooks (possibly bronze or gold) and an ornately carved metal lock face.

The citole that belongs in this case is 1963,1002.1 (on display).
