Cross; carved wood; set in a silver mount decorated with niello, gilding and jewel settings; obverse, the Crucifixion and busts of four evangelists; reverse, the Baptism and busts of four evangelists; attached to a tapering, hexagonal, silver-mounted stem with a nielloed inscription on each of the faces; at the extremity, a screw-thread.
