'Made-up' large plate; plaster of paris including fifteen fragments of slipware pottery; flanged rim, broad, shallow central bowl; brown glaze with yellow ochre slip-trailed decoration consisting of chain pattern round rim; ornamental cross in centre, bordered by festoon, loop and scroll patterns.
