Movement with fusee and chain driving a four wheel train terminating with a verge escapement.
DIAL & HANDS:
Painted enamel dial showing personifications of Justice, with sword and scales, and Law, with book and laurel wreath. Upper subsidiary dial with decimal hours 1-10 and minutes, 25,50,75 and 100. Lower subsidiary dial for normal hours 1-12 and minutes 15,30,45 and 60. Upper dial with blued-steel hands, lower dial with gold and gilt-brass hands. The minute hands on both dials are replacements.
