- Recorded 'London and its Environs described', printed for R. and J. Dodsley in Pall-Mall, 1761, Vol. V, pp. 76-97, p. 96 under 'Bustos, Statues, Bas Reliefs &tc, 'A madonna and child, in imitation of Rubens' manner of painting, terracotta'.
The pottery group 1954,0401.1 is apparently based on this terracotta.
The marble is in the Rockoxhuis, Antwerp (see H. de Nijn et al, 1997, no. 47).
