Fragment of undyed, plain weave linen with an eight pointed star tapestry (grouped warp threads) panel; Panel of purple wool, detailed in undyed linen, wrapped float brocading; Panel has a central field of four vases arranged with leaves within a roundel, square frame with twisted border design, additional four points each filled with a leaf, complete band of connecting leaves, a running scroll issues from two opposite points and terminates in a drop in the shape of an urn; Warp: linen, S spun, c. 22 tpc; Weft: linen and wool, S spun, c. 12 tpc in plain areas, c. 40tpc in tapestry; Edges: cut or ragged
