Teapot with twisted double handle, finial on the lid. Earthenware covered inside and out with a white tin glaze. Painted mostly in manganese purple: one side a landscape with ruins and birds; on the other two `chinoiserie style' figures with trees, rocks and birds. Edge of spout painted blue. On the lid another figure with trees and birds; edged in blue.
