Iron shackles consisting of two semicircular bands joined by interlocking loops. Each band has an eye on its outer edge with a link through it, intended no doubt to receive the ends of chains, and an elongated, terminal loop, one of which is now partly squashed.

This is an example of Type 4, differing from the norm only in having the side links, a feature which also appears in a similar shackle from Künzing (Saalburg-Jahrbuch 26 (1961) 139, Abb. 9, 1).
