Brass disc brooch; raised central field with central palmette flanked by foliate tendrils; blue green and white champlevé enamel inlays, both translucent and opaque in 13 zones; transversely ribbed, flanged rim; motifs picked out with line of punched decoration; the back is plain with no visible sign of pin-attachments, however tin was detected in deposits on the back which may be the remains of solder used to atach the disc.
