Waterworn schist pebble painted with red ochre. The decoration consists of a single line along the length of one face and around the edge of the pebble. Traces of ochre also apparent on the opposite face but have largely worn off. The dull darker colour of the ochre and the interruption on the paint on the edge by an ancient chip suggests this is a genuine piece.
