Copper alloy 'shield pattern' palstave with full leaf shaped flange and slightly 'crinoline' shaped blade. One large, deep 'blow-hole' above stopridge, at the start of the septum.

Found in a rabbit burrow in Broad Oak pit, Burley, New Forest with reg. nos. 1927,0107.1 a-g, i-k and 1927,0107.2.
One of eleven similar palstaves found together; possibly cast from the same pattern but not from the same mould.
