Horizontal compass dial; ivory globe in two halves screwed together; lower half: hemispherical compass with printed and coloured paper rose (base loose); skeleton horizontal dial with folding polar gnomon: latitude approx 45; upper half inside: simple volvelle for interconverting solar and lunar times according to moon's age; outside of globe: simple foliage decorations in black, equinoctial, tropical, arctic and antarctic circles and zodiac; with silver tripod stand.
