Gold plaque. Thin trapezium-shape foil of beaten gold with pointillé and embossed decoration which has been perforated at the top. The decoration consists of a row of pointillé dots along the outer edge. The centre of the plaque is decorated with two bosses and rows of pointillé dots probably forming a human figure. There are traces of a brown substance, possibly soil, on both the surfaces of the plaque.

- Curator's comments
- The scientific analysis of the Podmockl discs and plaques (1926,1013.1-6) conducted by the British Museum in 1996 cast serious doubt on their authenticity but was unable to demonstrate conclusively that they were modern.
