Tinned-copper alloy belt suspension mount, similar to no 7: cast rectangular openwork frame containing profile gryphon facing left; rivet in each corner; beneath, a hinged openwork rectangular pendant cast as foliate scrollwork (separate); back with impression of textile used in casting process.

Provenance:
The cemetery in the Brickfields at Győr (formerly Raab), Győr Sopron-megye, Hungary. Registration nos. 1926,0511.3-16 are provenanced from pictures in the literature with which they are identical. The provenance (as registration no. 1926,0511.2) given by Mautner has no support; from grave 838 with registration nos. 1926,0511.4 & 1926,0511.11-14
