Tinned-copper alloy belt hole-guard, similar to no 13: flat V-shaped with rounded, inturned ends and ribbed flanges either side of point; cast foliate decoration with three "leaves" on each arm of V; three attachment rivets.

Provenance:
The cemetery in the Brickfields at Győr (formerly Raab), Győr Sopron-megye, Hungary. Registration nos. 1926,0511.3-16 are provenanced from pictures in the literature with which they are identical. The provenance (as registration no. 1926,0511.2) given by Mautner has no support; from grave 838 with registration nos. 1926,0511.4, 1926,0511.7-8 and 1926,0511.11-12
