Tinned-copper alloy strap-end, similar to no 11: narrow tongue-shaped; cast openwork decoration with two leaf tendrils and terminal scroll enclosed by border rib; transverse scroll across top end with deep attachment socket and central rivet; back with impression of textile used in casting process.

Provenance:
The cemetery in the Brickfields at Győr (formerly Raab), Győr Sopron-megye, Hungary. Registration nos. 1926,0511.3-16 are provenanced from pictures in the literature with which they are identical. The provenance (as registration no. 1926,0511.2) given by Mautner has no support; from grave 838 with registration nos. 1926,0511.4, 1926,0511.7-8 & 1926,0511.13-14
