- Curator's comments
- This pattern of scattered bouquets was very fashionable at Meissen from the mid 1740s. It was copied in France at Vincennes porcelain factory and in England at the Chelsea porcelain factory. The brown line rim is borrowed from Kakiemon style porcelain and was considered a sign of exceptional quality, in fact, it neatly frames the design.
