Gold finger-ring of double coiled type, with twisted ends and stamped decoration. The single gold rod is of plano-conves section, with a continuous row of plain opposed traingle, or 'hour-glass', stamping around its outer face; this tapers to plain ends,which are twisted separately around the hoop. there are two substantial nicks on the inside ring, as well as evidence for ?24 minor pecking.

- Found in the river-bed at Nutbottom, Greenfield, at the confluence of Chew Brook and Greenfield Brook, in 1914; now submerged beneath Dove Stone Reservoir.
