Painted Limoges enamel plaque; copper, rectangular; set in a modern gilt wood frame set with four plaques of trapezoid shaped enamel decorated with scrolls in gilding on a blue ground; the Annunciation; four donor figures, in mid-sixteenth century costume, kneeling at a prie dieu; shields of arms; at sides, mountain landscape and seascape; signed; painted in grisaille and semi-opaque enamels on a white preparation flesh tones are stippled; details in gilding; counter enamel transparent.
