Pedestal, jasper ware, coloured blue, in the form of an ancient altar, with rams' heads at each corner at the top and winged lions in pairs round the base, each side decorated with applied moulded reliefs in white jasper of female allegorical figures or deities, including: Plenty with cornucopia; Victory with wreath and palm branch; Juno with spear and peacock. The fourth figure, carrying a covered cup on a dish, has not been identified. Marked.
