Copper counterplate for seal-matrix for the Cape of Good Hope. Four positions, with brass mounts numbered respectively 1, 2, 3, 4. The Royal arms with supporters and motto. Below, a shield of arms gules, a lion rampant between three annulets, on a chief argent three roundles gules each charged with a fleur-de-lis; an anchor on each side intersected by part of a scroll bearing an inscription; the whole within an octofoil. Surrounding legend. In box with respective seal-matrix.
