Straight-sided albarello, earthenware, covered on exterior with presumed tin glaze; inside with a thinner tin glaze. Painted in blue, orange and manganese purple with repeated pattern of asterisks, rows of dashes in brackets, squiggles and dots resembling Hispano-Moresque floral designs. One side is an oval medallion with profile portrait of a bearded, long-haired man to dexter in an orientalising hat. Portrait probably after Antonio Pollaiuolo.
