Human hair tresses, six; spirally bound with leather at narrower end; further down then enclosed in bark strips and bound with spirally twisted thread; encased in spirally coiled narrow copper alloy strip.

Through Thomas Sheppard of Hull Municipal Museum; that institution retains some 100 objects from the collection it had acquired from A. Reichardt. A small collection from the same site, of similar objects, given by Terekhin to the Baron de Baye, was presented by him to the Musée des Antiquités Nationales, St. Germain en Laye, in 1901 (see Musée des Antiquités Nationales de Saint-Germain-en-Laye, 1989, Archéologie comparée.
