Description
Tile of pale pinkish-buff earthenware with presumed tin glaze on the front. Painted in blue, blue-black and bright green with a four-leaf motif in an incurved square; on each side are five diagonal overlapping strokes. Label on reverse (probably Wallis's handwriting): `Vatican'.
