Disc brooch - composite: copper alloy upper sheet with four collared triangular settings (clear glass remains in one) around empty central boss; repoussé pseudo-filigree loops and scrolls in between; cast copper alloy base-plate secured by four dome-headed rivets; tinned border with zigzag decoration; pair with no. 6.

Unrecorded, but said to be from "the district of the Rhine and Moselle", Germany; recent research has shown that the vendor has been notoriously unreliable.
