Pedestal in hard-paste porcelain with flat back in the form of rockwork covered with shells, with fountain/ waterfall and three putti beside it. Cracked, distorted and smoke-stained.

- Curator's comments
- No other example is known in Plymouth porcelain, although some of the rock work and coral occurs on Plymouth shell dishes (salts) and bases of figure groups. The presence of a socket indicates that an additional fitting was intended.

- Significant losses to lower front, putti and shells. Putti are missing heads and parts of torsos.
Loss to right hand side of base a result of large firing crack. Crack to front, left of centre and reverse. Smoke stained. (Manufacturing faults).
