Jug; grey stoneware; globular body with horizontal ribbing on lower section; cylindrical neck; out-turned foot with thumbed edge; grooved handle; main body of jar with bearded face, crudely executed, applied nose, flanked by bands of star-shaped ornament; patch of brown salt-glaze on base; neck half restored; jug substantially repaired.
