Applied medallion dated 1594
Cylindrical tankard (Schnelle), tapering towards the neck, with strap handle and cordons around the neck and base. Light grey stoneware with thin patches of salt-glaze; pre-firing chip to neck.
Applied in low relief with an oval medallion containing the royal arms of England (1c) and the date 1594.
