a. Equinoctial pin-gnomon dial and polar pin-gnomon dial.
b. Hour-scale 1-12, 1-12 for equinoctial pin-gnomon dial, with latitude scale from 0°-80° to right.
c. Horozontal dial for string gnomon, surrounding a compass (the glass cracked), set for true north, with scale 0-90-0-90-0. Within the compass well, a table of twenty-two European towns, named in French, with their latitudes in degrees. South is marked as 'Mydy'. The whole card of printed paper, coloured. To right, a hinged arm to engage with latitude scale.
