Well preserved small sheet-bronze shield of round shape, doomed and beaten out of a single disc; round central boss with broad step, 128mm in Dm., 28mm high; decorated with one concentric rib and two rows of bosses, rib width 15-16mm, boss Dm. 23-30mm; rim is flat and not rolled over; a massive bronze band as handle is riveted to back, 215mm long; two tabs riveted to back, only one remains, 51mm long and with a large hole for a strap; large round rivet heads, 37-39mm in Dm.; few hammer-marks are visible in the boss’ step.
