Basin with undulating border; tin-glazed earthenware; oval-shaped; cut-out edge raised; white ground and blue decoration, lion with formal plants, trees and a bird (derived from Italian decoration, Savona).

- Lady Charlotte Schreiber's diary for 1871 records a visit to Seville where she bought this piece, painted with a lion and elabroate border which came from the Monastery of San Clemente. See Ray 1998, p. 219
