Albarello on low everted foot. Earthenware covered inside and out with presumed tin glaze; translucent glaze beneath the foot. Painted top and bottom with bands of cable pattern and foliage. On one side is an oval panel with the young St John the Baptist in a landscape. Surrounding this, roundels with scrolling oak foliage on a blue ground, stylised rosettes on a green ground and dolphin-heads on an orange ground. Beneath foot, traces of a red wax seal.
